Recent Travels Across Texas

We all finally got tired of waiting to see some of the state of Texas and got going.

One weekend we headed due east over to Toledo Bend Resevoir and Louisiana.

It was almost 200 miles each way!  It was certainly fun to see Louisiana, though!  On the drive back, we had to go through a terrible storm - rain, high winds, etc.  NO FUN at all.  The drive back took longer due to the bad weather.
